Rare flooding here

I am completely flooded in, thankfully I am on the high ground, it is all downhill from my home. I went out this morning trying to get to Gallipolis to meet friends for b-feast. No luck there a HUGE sycamore tree was across the road, creeks were bank high all along the roads.

I just went out in my truck and checked Leading Creek, it is badly flooded, so is Rutland Ohio. I have five possible ways to get out of here and all of them are flooded, the rain continuing and water rising everywhere.

There is no way I will get out to go to work tomorrow and if the rain keeps up like it is supposed to it might be even longer.

Youins down along the Atlantic Coast will be in my prayers with what is coming at you.

    Is your plane safe?

    I am on high ground in fact I live on the 2nd highest point in Wake County NC.

    The airport is well drained but is in the 500 year flood plane. My buddy said all is well at the airport no flooding anywhere near it.
