from this past weekend
by no means a professional job but not bad for my first time [:p]
learned a few things that ill know to do diff. on the next one [:D]
now just have to clean it up and grout it then do some little stuff to it

picked up an excam ta76 22lr/mag revolver in stainless (didn't find that in the book)cheap...cylinders were 0.005 diff length with cylinder gap of 0.014-0.017...turned cylinders to same length, removed barrel & turned shoulder down till had a gap of 0.004 & redrilled bbl pin & shaped forcing cone...reset ejector housing then final was dress chambers where dry fire had left bur & buff pistol...lockup is inline & fairly snug so i think it will make an OK plinker...fun away to spend couple hours 0 -
Great job. I tried tile setting tile ONE time and I too learned a valuable lesson ........ Don't do it again. I got asked a lot if I meant to set them at that angle ................. sigh. 0 -

I can see a few mistakes, the most won't... Not bad, not bad at all... 0 -
Did that strip of smaller tiles set in a bit shallower than the big ones. I did something similar in my kitchen and those smaller tiles were thinner so they were kinda sunk in. I wish I would have shimmed them out to be flush with the other tile. 0 -

nope no need for a hole its put in with a 1/4 inch drop for every foot so plenty of run off [:p]0 -
In South America Ceramic tile is the customary final finish. Floors, bathrooms, countertops and decorative accents. Have yet to see a piece of carpet.
You'd think the "craftsmen" would do a nice job,, but I'd say 80% of the work is somewhere between "substandard" and "crap".
Your tile job is PROBABLY better than what you'd find in the Presidential palace,, (minus the mistakes).[:D]
Have yet to see a house / room that is built square or the walls plumb. Right there is a big part of the problem. Sometimes they will make the finish on the walls (concrete, troweled on) thicker in areas to achieve a relatively square area. Thicker means the wall cement can be 1/4" to 3"+ thicker from one corner to the next.0 -
