Bacon is the plan...

Wife is out for a few. Bacon will be on the menu till she returns.

Anyone else thinks all things are better with this magical ingredient? Bacon yes!

    Just about anything is better with bacon.

    I am the worlds worest fisherman. If I had to fish to survie, I would die. BUT.....I enjoy going fishing with my boys. Last year younger son and I did a tent camping trip in central WI, right by a trout stream. I cught more fish in 2 days than I have caught in the last 20 years added together.
    We had agreed to live off the land and had only taken in basic food supplies, butter,bread coffee, eggs, potatoes and BACON. Younger son is a great cook. We only kept enough trout for a meal, released a lot of nice brookies.
    Our first fish dinner, my son did bacon wrapped brookie with fried potaotes.I believe that this is a dinner that is also severed in heaven.
    Lunch the next day, he saved the bacon grease and breaded the trout and fried them up with more potatoes. Made toast and opened a can of peaches for desert. Ummm.....
