This happens every year. You can make money when stocks go down.

CNN has been calling for a "Major Correction" for the last 2 years, ever since Trumpy was elected.

I saw it reported today that CNN reports on Trumpy are 92% bad things. They are so upset they cannot say one good thing about him. Hell they talk about his BallPark Frank more than his policy.

CNN is a frickin cartoon to me. I cannot watch it, same with Fox. I don't know who I would like to bitch slap more Cooper or the other queen on Fox.

If you sold today, perhaps you lost.

If you bought yesterday, that is.

Inverted yield curve! Make more money in new financial instruments. I guess all the big stockholder people sold out their shares beforehand already. Italy could be the why the camel's back has broken.

I bet those pension plans are hurting today.

I dumped a lot the last time the Dow was at 25,500 and it is still in cash. Perchance a buying opportunity in a week or so.

I like Trump, and I think his economic policy is the correct one, but I've been decreasing my stock holdings for about 6 months and moving into cash and bonds.

The market is just too expensive right now.

i never played the stock market ..i have done some simple puts and calls and forward sales contracts on grain markets..i even hired a marketing consultant to help...first year i doubled my profit...second year i lost it all ...fired him ..i can lose money without paying some one to do it...i have questions to answer.....how really safe is cash in a bank when ANY deposits are considered unsecured loans from you to the bank...and FDIC can only cover a small % of monies in banks...and are deposits in a credit union considered as the same since they have a form of insurance also ???...or cash out and hide it under the mattress next to the firearms

For a change this will not hurt me. Because of age my Plan switched to a more conservative line.

Got worse at end, however GOLD is up 3% so the panic isn't all that bad so far. DOW down 5% in two days.

Big drop for bond/treasury yields, must also be uncertainty over the Nov. election. FUD, stock markets main motivator.

Considering the market has gone straight up since 2008 it won't be so bad to shed a few thousand and reset.
