Disjointed commercials that make no sense
I?m noticing more TV commercials lately that make no sense at all. If I were paying the big bucks for commercials I would want people to know what I was selling.
Boeing aircraft commercial: A Boeing aircraft is sitting on a runway. A female voice starts the countdown like it?s a Moon shot. She says ?10, 9, the goddess is forever, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2?. The aircraft starts down the runway. End of commercial.
Peloton stationary bicycle commercial: A man is working out on a Peloton stationary bike and recites all the things he might be. I might be a this, that or the other, or I might be the other, that, or this, etc., etc. When he gets to the end of his list he says, ?maybe it doesn?t matter what I am. Maybe it only matters what I am now.? End of commercial.
Is this some kind of new equal opportunity program for junkies and alcoholics to write TV commercials?

These are designed to provide cognitive stimuli to your inner Psyche. 0 -
Those commercials WORKED James! You remembered the product, AND you are thinking and talking about the product. That is their goal.

If that is their goal then it worked, but it?s counterproductive. I remember ? Badda Book Badda Boom?, but what I remember is I?d drive an extra hundred miles to avoid their Motel.0
