Documentary on Smokey and the Bandit

This is a 2 hour documentary. It is really good. Has commercials but you can skip 'em.

I just watched it over 3 nights, highly recommended. I mean, this Hal Needham guy was just a poor farm boy from Arkansas with a 10th grade education, went to Hollywood to be a stunt man, got the idea for Smokey and the Bandit, he wrote the screen play and directed the movie, first film he ever had directed. A hell of a story.
He was Burt Reynold's room mate when they cooked this movie up.

  i will book mark and watch it later
  remember when it came out they sold a crap load of transams that year [:D]
  it is a fun movie a lot of funny scenes and lines I think like most I liked it and watched it at the drive in
