    I fully support the beige princess not to stand or recite the pledge. I would like her to do it somewhere other than in a U.S. public school that is funded with our tax money. I would think that her idol, obozo, could get her into a nice school in his home country of Kenya. Well, now she has had her few moments of fame and next year she may be asking us if we want fries with that.

    Been married to a British subject 3 days longer than dirt. Her passport has a lion and unicorn on it. When they play the Star Spangled Banner, it is NOT appropriate for her to render a salute/ hand over heart- but she DOES stand out of respect. I do the same for God Save the Queen.

    Sorry- silly me. There I go expecting a display of respect in a public school. Sorry- don't know WHAT could have come over me. [B)]

    Well the DEMOCRATs have never liked the word "God" in the Pledge as well as the word "Republic".

    DEMOCRATs have made their intentions long ago they want to replace God with Government and being that Houston is chock full of DEMOCRATs this should come as no surprise.

    Yep Sam Houston would think he lost the revolution if he came back to Houston Texas. Hell The peso made well be more valuable than The U.S. dollar under Nafta and the Amerio conversion when they hit the reset button over there in Switzerland at the Bank of International Settlements! [:o)] The NWO is coming like it or not.

    Had a couple Jehovahs Witnesses in my class growing up. They stood outside the room while the rest of the class said the pledge. No one thought twice and life went on.

    When I was in school, yes they had schools that long ago, we had foreign students. I was impressed that during the Pledge of Allegiance, those foreign students stood respectfully at attention while Americans said the Pledge.
    You can't even get that from some americans now days. shame

    Yeah I suppose we should take out In G_d We Trust on the money too after all it's just paper, cheap metal or digits in a computer anyway now.

    That all seeing eye is creepy anyway oh wait that is what our government is now. A surveillance state for all Tribes, Ethnicities, Creeds, Sexes, Cultures, Religions and Nationalities and even dual citizenships.

    Being an American is only for the money now. Straight white men make to much of it already too![:D] They should be at the back of the line ASAP.

    I live near the Canadian border We have many Canadians that come to watch and Canadian teams that play here. Naturally they play both national anthems prior to the games. I have never seen anyone sit during either anthem.
