Newer Chevy Hot Rod
I don't know if it is factory or someone built them but I have seen several newer sort of small Chevrolets that look like grandmas car that were hot rods.The first was at Myrtle Beach and it ran away from a new Mustang in a drag race.On the way home a Corvette could not catch the same type car coming up the interstate.I saw one today humiliate a new Challenger.Anybody know what these are?

Impala SS...they made the same thing ins Caprice as a PPV. It is a shame they don't make them in the US anymore. I'd like to score an Impala SS or Pontiac G80 -
You may have seen our long lost grandma. We last seen her burning out from her driveway, with a Beachboys 8 track tape on full volume.

Just 'SS', not Impala or Caprice. I believe they had a supercharger, also.
The other SS's went the way of he dodo, years ago.0
