Too early

Got to the beach too early It?s 6:44 am and still dark and I don?t swim in the ocean at night. Too many hungry critters with big teeth. It?s nice here underneath the bridge waiting. Just watched the bridge go up to let two big sport fisherman continue their trec north on the Intercoastal Waterway. I have an extra large steaming hot cup of DD black. coffee so I just need a swim and then a Sonic bacon egg and cheese burrito. Life is berry berry good!!!

    Sounds like a nice morning. I'm sitting here in the FL Panhandle watching the track for Hurricane Michael & drinking my black coffee.

    Thanks. I know it was rough up there. Fortunately we're to the west of the projected landfall so it shouldn't get too bad, but it's up to cat 4 so some are going to get it bad.

    You never know with these storms. I?m sure you have water gas and canned food.

    I've been thru Hurricanes Ivan (2004) and Dennis (2005) and even felt the impact of Katrina way over here. Both cars are full of gas plus several 5 gallon cans on hand. Have canned and dried emergency food, bottled water and bath tub full. Plenty of Spam ;)

    I tested the generator the other day and it started on the first pull. Just got a new roof on the house a couple of weeks ago, & the storage sheds are tied down. We're about as ready as we can be.

    8 am came in ..145mph Cat4 with lowest pressure ever for a Oct. hurricane. It will rip Florida and Southern Georgia apart.

    Went thru Irma last year, had water damage close to deductible on Ins. This time we were not near the storm, light winds and a few rain storms mostly short of duration. Everyone in affected areas are in my thoughts and Prayers.

    While sharks can eat whenever they want most hunt at night. I used to shark fish at night and have hooked some at Corn Cake Inlet at Ft. Fisher that I just could not stop at all on heavy spin tackle. I also used to swim at night but as I got older I quit tempting fate.
