New knife arrived the other day
Bark River Woodland special. 3 1/8" A2 steel blade with Desert Ironwood scales.
Nice looker and perfect size foe eastern whitetails, IMO.
Hopefully I will get to try it out this weekend.

It is not made to be worn horizontal, but I am going to see if Trinity Scrimshaw, who lives near me, can make me a couple that can.
I have this and another one that I want to carry that way.
But, to answer your question, the knife fits in there snugly enough to carry horizontal....or even upside down.0 -

Perhaps. I know that he went to their grind-ins.
BTW, knife shopping is generally less expensive than gun shopping and people get less upset when you show them off in public. And....I use mine in the kitchen, so it is also a justifiable 'household item'. [8D]0
