Democrats or Republicans fired up?

Went to the polling place at 10:30 and the line came out of the building and across the parking lot. Somebody is anxious to vote.

    I am not a fan of early voting. Every time I have done it(2 times because I was out of town) the lines are longer than normal voting days.

    I have also read too many storys about ballots getting "Lost" and then found after the election.

    We have serious issues here in Raleigh NC. There are a bunch of school bonds coming up and they will raise our Property Taxes.

    These politicians need to lay off property owners. A consumption tax is way more fair and everyone contributes. I live outside the city but I will be effected because I am in Wake county.

    I don't understand why these schools need so much money! They have about 45% of my property tax, They get the tax and money off Liquor sales, they have the lottery money...........what more do they need!

    We also have a serious POS running for Congress. I doubt she will get elected but if she is it will be like having Cynthia McKinney as your Rep.

    Voter ID law is on the ballot for a second time(It was passed before)But that is not what our stinking Democrap GOV wanted. Typical keep voting on it until you get the outcome you want.



    One thing a lot of folks don't realize is Judges, County Commissioners, School Board and the Sheriff effect your life way more that the President. Most people don't even look into what the jokers running for Judge believe.

    I am lucky. I fill out a sample ballot for 6 people so my vote is like 7 votes and its all legal[;)].

    here in our rural county when i was working in the court house 70% of the funds went to schools and the remainder to all the other county depts

    Look at the charts to discern a quick view of possible outcomes.Also look at the Non-Hispanic White Share of Electorate in 2016 and remember the mid elections don't carry the electoral vote equation. Figure it out for yourself.

    One could only hope but Hillary had won the majority of the votes in 2016 so changing demographics could matter more in 2018.

    Seems the Republicans are more "Fired up" to get more Republicans elected to state and local positions and MAGA.

    Democrats are motivated by anger at losing in 2016 and taking over power to impeach Trump. Not much of a platform because TRUMP will still be there not matter how they vote.

    I don't think a single president has been impeached and removed from office.

    Voted this morning ? got in line at 9:50 cast my ballot at 11:05. Lines were long, parking lot full. The line was twice as long when I left.

    Lots of "old white guys" and their wives in line which is a good sign.

    I never liked voting a straight ticket, but the last 12-15 years there were not any alternatives.

    However, the last two years I was able to vote for candidates that shared at least 75%+ of my values...first time in a long time.

    The reason the schools need so much money is they are involved with too much. They do not concentrate on academics but instead concentrate on golf, bowling, volleyball, football, basketball, gymnastics, and about every other sport you can imagine

    Just got my Mail in ballot. Will fill it out tomorrow and on the way home from work drop it by the ballot office.

    I think they do an excellent job of getting the votes of illegals and dead people. And pretty good at rigging voting machines, and loosing Republican ballots.


    I'm betting voter fraud by democrats will be in full swing. I think they did a lot of it in 2016 but underestimated the number of dead people they needed to win.

    I think we need to tighten the screws down on voter fraud.

    Walked right in, checked in, voted for a bunch of Republican'ts and one democrap. Less than 10 minutes.

    Democrap was our sheriff. Can't hardly blame him since most of his "customers" at the county lockup are democraps.

    If you have mail-in ballots (like civilized states do), that might be your answer.
