I've observed that more mass shootings are done just before elections.

Because this it makes me wonder if they're orchestrated for no other reason than to further gun control and the party that would vote for more gun control...

  I think all the BS associated with election agitates people. If someone is already on a tight line the extended agitation can push them off of it.
