Learnt something new
Been looking online to learn about M25 but there ain't much on there so I'm making due with M1As. Basically the same thing, right? I know M21 is closer but this too has less info on line, too.
Them Mcmillan M3A stocks with bells and whistles ain't cheap [:0][:0][:0]. Over pressure gas vents down wards so even though the M25 has a "special" muzzle brake that will not kick up dirt is defeated by the vent hole. Who was asleep on that helm?
Oh found a dude showing how to do a armors break down on M1As on youtube very detailed and informative. It seems the M1As has more bits than the Mini-14 (who would've thunk it?). There's a roller that needs to be packed with grease and there's a moving bit inside the gas tube.
I wonder what weight and style projectile this one with the 1 in 10 will like?

I just have the Springfield loaded model with the NM front sight and 22inch barrel. Same 1-10 twist I believe. Mine shoots 168gr pills pretty good. Need to get that rifle back out soon.
I've got my eye on a James River armory M14. Forged receivers, several different grades available. And by all accounts pretty good shooters.0 -
