Bump-fire stocks
Not much news lately. Are the folks in the swamp still trying to ban them?

Yes.
ATF issued a proposed regulation to ban them and I read it. There is a standard process they must work through before they can issue a final regulation. That final regulation will make possession illegal. It will also specify an effective date, process for disposal and wether owners will be compensated for the government changing its mind on these things.0 -

and no longer take orders. Out of business? Mine are fun....for

Have they banned belt loops yet? You can do the same thing by hooking your thumb in a belt loop and letting the recoil bump fire it. Maybe they'll ban thumbs, anybody with a thumb can't buy an AR-15. Idiots at the ATF doing what they do best...nothing of importance!! 0 -

..There was a long and very expensive legal battle concerning
Bump Fire and SlideFire. Patent infringement and all that. So,
I'm guessing you're probably correct that they both saw the
impending restrictions coming and got out before the hammer
dropped. I'm sure they made out alright because they were both
backordered for quite a while. Couldn't build them fast enough!0 -
There are still a ton for sale on the other side. Seems like the supply is still growin 0 -

I think California done did that to a degree. They call it going featureless. I imagine it's hard to bump fire if the thumb can't go over the shark fin on the grip. Actually it could be done just not recommended [:D].0
