Now Windows is after me

Can't The Yellow Brotha catch a break? Again a computerized female voice is saying to call 855 451 0555. I know I should be thankful I get these calls other wise I wouldn't know if my phone was working [:D].

    I have gotten phone calls:

    I have charges against me and if I don't call them, they are gonna send the police. The IRS is gonna send the police if I don't call them and pay them money. The Honda people call me once a week about an airbag (I have never owned a Honda). I got a call yesterday from someone that said my Windows license had expired, and to call them. I get calls asking for Scott, then when I tell them they have a wrong number, they start in on a sales pitch.

    Need I go on? I do not answer my phone unless the caller is in my contact list.

    I get them all- they will start up again in about 15 minutes (6 PM)

    Either I greet them with "HELLO Scammer!!!" or I mess with them. "Rachel" from "Card Services"- so... Rachel- what color panties are you wearing? Or "What made you decide to become a thief? Is it that you are too much of a coward to mug someone, or too stupid to work?"

    FWIW, NEVER call one of them- that is a toll billing setup.

    Got three scam calls this afternoon over a 10-minute period. Just as I trying to take my little siesta, of course. Bastids.

    I now have three times the number of blocked numbers than friends on my phones. It's maddening.

    Just don't answer, and they will slow down (but never completely stop). Answering shows them it is an active number and keeps you on the call lists.
    After a couple months of ignoring em I was down to maybe one call a week. If I screw up and answer I will get a few more calls over the next couple of days.

    Alpine - Okay you got a bit more calls than I. I look forward to the calls from "the cops", Honda and Scott. God I hope I get this one so I can say "do I sound like a honkey? [:D]".

    Oh I don't answer the phones since I work the nights and the machine picks up but I want the Scott call. I may just turn off the machine of it's greeting of "you should not have this number".
