15:17 Paris - Magazine Disconnect
Last week I checked out the video "15:17 Paris" about how Spencer Stone and his friends thwarted a solo-terrorist attack on a train to Paris. In one scene the terrorist shots a passenger with his pistol. So you know the pistol should be in working order. In scenes were Stone struggles with the terrorist you see the terrorist try to use the pistol again but the magazine gets inadvertently released/launched from the pistol. Even though the terrorist tries to shoot the pistol, the pistol fails to fire. This pistol seems to have a "Magazine Disconnect" safety feature were it will not fire unless the magazine is properly seated in its well. Curiously enough I later watched a YouTube video Kimmel Live where Stone states "That the pistol failed to fire because of a bad primer." Not sure what to believe - Hollywood which is usually wrong - just might have the right scenario for why the pistol failed to fire or was it a bad primer?

Most likely the scripwriters left out the break in the movie explanation to the viewing public about the bad primer.
Instead, they wrote the script for the dumb blondes watching when the previously known to be working pistol did not fire.
"Well look, all of his bullets fell out, duh".
I believe the guy that was there.0 -
Well alot of Browning Hi-Powers in that region of the world and they are well known for the magazine disconnect feature. 0 -
How crazy would've it been if Spencer said the reason why the round didn't go off was because of "god" on TV. 0
