Watched "Predator" the new one, it's okay but the original was still better. Actually I liked the "Aliens Vs. Predator" better or the one that took place on the alien planet. Why did the dog like creatures had to have dreads? Makes you wonder where else they have dreads [:D].

"Antman and Wasp" again it was okay but not that great. Neither was the first one. I do like Michael Pena the fast talking story telling Mexican feller. The thing I didn't get was they carried miniaturized cars in a Hot Wheel carrier. I'd think getting shook about in the carrier the fluids would be leaking everywhere. I'm not even going to go on about the buildings.

I hope "Venom" is better.

    Halloween, directed by rob zombie, if you like the halloween series, definately go see it, very good.

    The Condemned, again, a very excellent movie, very action packed.

    Superbad, funny, but funny in a juvenile, lets get drunk and try to nail some chicks way, i liked it[;)]

    Just watched I Now Pronounce You Chuck And Larry, excellent flick, hilarious, go see that.

    I was bored a couple of weeks ago and ended up buying a slew of old movies from Amazon.

    Movies that I hadn't seen in a very long time but knew they were pretty good back in the day. Just watched Dustin Hoffman and Chief Dan George in "Little Big Man" [8D] A classic that seemed to have missed the radar in popularity.

    Funny how that movie mimics my own life in soooo many ways! Right now I'm in my drunk, down and out period, but sure to bounce back when ole Mrs. Pendrake shows up!![:D][:p]

    I have been watching a ton of old movies at night , over the last year +
    I am having a hard time sleeping so fill the time with countless movies .
    thanks to the internet and fireTv [;)] same with old TV shows .. some are fun to watch now after 40 - 50 years , special effects have came a long way . its hard to beat some of the classic movies

    They have been playing those old Flash Gordon fliks on the weekends on Comet TV. Starring Buster Crabb as Flash.

    The special effects with the toy space rockets with smoke billowing out the tail cones is downright hilarious![:D] You can even see the strings attached if you look closely.[:0]

    IMHO, there is a happy medium regarding special effects that hit its peak before computer animation. Stuff your eyes and brain could actually see and comprehend compared to the new stuff that fly's by faster then a speeding bullet!

    "Venom" was okay but it could've been better if rated "R". Also seeing breaths in the night air that's supposed to take place in Malaysia kind a took me out. And the coniferous forest of "Malaysia" where the spaceship crashed [:D].

    "Peppermint" was another okay movie. Lot's of meh movies this round. Basically the movie was about a soccer mom going "Punisher" on the Mexicans in L.A.

    Today I'm just going to the tried and true. "A Christmas Story" 1 and 2 with "My Summer Story". Which was "supposed" to be the sequel to "A Christmas Story". I'm gonna OD on white people. I'll see if there are any "coloreds" in the movie other than in "the restaurant". Fa Ra Ra Rah [:D].

    I don't watch movies anymore not many I like. Last one I saw was Gran Torino so will watch the Mule if done by Eastwood.

    grumpygy - Yeah "Ash Vs Evil Dead" is good. I should say was unless some other company picks it up (maybe Netlix?). They can pick it up where Ash wakes up in the future.

    Not really feeling "Mule". What previews I've seen is about a old guy in a bad situation. I wanna say didn't Robert Duvall do this already? Then again if I see it for $10 I might give it a try. I do like "modern" westerns.
