Can you help a buddy out with few bucks.....
It would be nice if you guys could chip in a few bucks for a buddy.
See, I told my mom to get busy packing for our family world cruise on a rented luxury liner. It was only $55,000 per day, crew and food included for the family to go. For some crazy reason they wanted a deposit to hold the boat for our tour staring in early spring of 2019. I figured what the hell, it was only a $2,600,000.00 deposit for the tour, balance due upon departure. I could cover tipping the crew later, if they did a decent enough job serving our every whim.
Well, much to my chagrin, and as you might find somewhat surprising, the cheating Lottery buzzards chose the WRONG WINNER, the audacity and unmitigated gall of some Lottery folks has me in a tizzy I tell you. My mom ain't too happy either, it will take her a week to unpack.
It also has my check book just a bit overdrawn but I am confident my buddies can help a feller out. I went flying with a buddy this very evening and he popped for my dinner, that was $14.00 right there. Of course I spent $141.10 on 100LL aviation gas so I will need just a bit more than the $2,600,000.00 to cover the deposit check that will soon hit my account.
Do ya think a GO FUND ME PAGE will help or should I just rely on my beloved GB forum buddies????

Now that's the American Spirit![:D]0 -
A deeply religious man, whom I will call Dave, finds himself in dire financial trouble. He prays earnestly to his God to help him out of his predicament. "God, I'm about to lose my car. Please help me. Let me win the lottery." Lottery night comes, but sadly, Dave is not the winner.
Things go from bad to worse. Without a car to get to work, Dave loses his job. Without a job, his mortgage is foreclosed on, and he loses his home. Without a home, his wife leaves him, taking the kids. After each horrible step in the mounting crisis, he pleads with God to let him win the lottery, but he never does.
Finally, broke, hungry, living on the street, he tries again. "God, please, my life is a wreck. I have no car, no home, no family. Please let me win the lottery just this once so that I can turn my life around. I beg you."
Suddenly, a flash of light comes from the sky, and the voice of God echoes down from the heavens. "Dave, meet me halfway, buy a freaking ticket."0 -

Thanks! That beats a sharp stick in the eye, I think....[:)]0 -
Not to worry, I just put a check in the mail. 0 -
Perhaps someone can auction a Worls Clas .22 and donate the proceeds to help find the elusive Cyclops Corn Monkey.
Then maybe, just maybe...0 -
Hey Bpost, already sent the check, but I think I added a zero too much. Just go ahead and cash it, and send half back to me, you can keep the rest. [:D] 0 -
I dug under the couch cushions and only found $2,500,000.15. It's not quite the amount you need, so I think I'll give it to that poor lady who's so sad for losing the election a couple years ago [:0][:p][:D] 0 -
bpost ? Sorry I don't remember that name - try the go-fund-me thingy. It worked out pretty well for some gal called Stormy, and what does she have that you don't ? 0 -
I sent some money to Stormy Daniels but last I heard, she had to give that to Trump...[:D] 0 -
