    Bristol Virginia Police Department Sgt. Steve Crawford says authorities originally sought to charge the 17-year-old girl with animal cruelty.

    Crawford says a juvenile intake worker declined to charge her and instead placed the girl on probation. Crawford says the girl could be charged if she doesn't comply with the probation requirements.

    Let's hope the Beast doesn't comply with her probation requirements

    I'd wager they were laughing their asses off at the time.

    "Investigators with our department talked to the female subject who allegedly sprayed the cat with pepper spray. She was showing remorse for the incident and said she didn't intentionally mean to harm the cat," Captain Maynard Ratcliff said.

    Remorse??? Yeah, they're sorry they posted it on social media. And it sure as hell looks like she meant to spray the kitten.
