My wife and I have been camping in travel trailers for over 25 years. We go to all kinds of different RV resorts and campgrounds every year. After owning 5 different used models over the years, this year we bought our first new travel trailer. 2018 Open Range Light 275RLS. Pretty slick unit with outdoor kitchen, LCD fireplace, dual opposing slides and dual massaging recliners. So post up some pics of your set up.

Built a few Silverlite Trailers. Horse Trailers with Living Quarters.
And Built a lot of Monaco RV's their top line Coaches. Till they moved the factory.
But have not owned one yet.0 -
hope you guys enjoy them, when I got out of the service I promised myself I wouldn't spend another night in a tent when I could find a motel room, I am still sticking to that promise......[;)] I know the trailers are a long way from a tent, but you can buy a lot of motel rooms for the price of the trailer 0 -

I have had 5 rv?s in my life as well. Currently I have a 36 ft. Fifth wheel Montana by Keystone that is set up in a KOA resort by Talahassee Florida. I use it for weekend getaways and for my hunting camp as my deer and turkey lease is close to it. For about the last month we have been looking at buying a pull be hind travel trailer and trade my fifth wheel in on a new one. The brand I have been looking at is Keystone. Something in the 28 to 32 foot range. I hate getting rid of my fifth wheel because it has so much room in it with three slide outs but what we are looking at is roomy enough for the two of us. 0 -

We wanted a toyhauler and signed a contract to buy a new 2019 Fury 2910 made by Primetime MFG. The first unit had structural issues and I refused it at the dealer. They located another unit and we went to buy it and it flooded during the pre delivery inspection so i refused it and walked away. I would advise anyone to stay away from Primetime MFG. Oddly enough, Primetime is owned by Forest River RV which supposedly has good quality. Cruiser RV actually owns Airstream and Thor. Glad you got a good one.0 -

My in-laws gave us two 5th wheels when they no longer wanted to deal with them. The first one came with a years paid rent at a local Lake campground and the second one came with the Truck to pull it.
They had a lot of issues on the road, breakdowns etc. They could at the time afford to deal with it.
By the time I invested in a decent unit with the Truck to pull it, the mileage you get, the cost of Campgrounds today.
Well I can stay in a hotel.0 -
