Yesterday's Garage Sale Finds

Horse Plains Drifter
Goofed off yesterday, and hit a few garage sales. Stuff from four different garage/yard/shop sales.
Bonus: GB shopping bags in car.[^]

Finds:

B&S portable pump...$5.00
2-1/2 gal. pre EPA gas can...$1.00
Craftsman 18V cordless drill...$5.00
Makita multi-speed 4-1/2" grinder...$25.00

    So are you attending these "yard sales" between the hours of 2am and 4am, you know when it's less crowded??[:)] Thoses are some great deals!! Does the pump run??

    Does the pump run?? The fella said it used to, but has been stored for years. I opened the fuel tank, and it's clean as a whistle in there. I'm going to assume it will need a carb kit, and the points cleaned/replaced.


    Everything except the grinder was asking prices too. The only one I even tried to dicker on was the grinder. When we walked in the guy said that if we didn't like the price on something to shoot him an offer. He was asking $30 for the grinder. I almost offered him $20. His tool prices were ok, but he had a bunch of ammo which was priced higher than a giraffe's ears. $10.00/100 for CCI 22LR mini-mags, and $150.00 for a 420 round? can of LC M855.

    Nice score on the Briggs engine. I have over 80 Briggs and Stratton engines in my garage. Most are cast iron engines dating back to the 1930's. I do have some aluminum engines like yours.
