Well I sent a rifle to New Mexico standard mail. Priority takes two days.. so it arrived in two days. Maybe a fluke.. Well I mailed one to Illinois the same way standard mail... it gets there today the same way.. in 2 days... just a little info that they don't have to go priority. And you will save a bundle in shipping.

    Contact the post office yourself or sender and have them contact the post office. I had that happen twice, and it will keep getting shipped internally until a supervisor chases it down and fixes it.

    The last time it happened, it was in Tucson for three days, and when I went to the local office, the guy found my package, handed it to me and apologized.

    I see it's been to 3 different zip codes in Seattle before being shipped back out to a distribution center likely the one it started out in. It makes me wonder if there's an old address on the box that they keep reading.

    Maybe they are getting a little range time with it. Checking it in and out of the office everyday.

    Local PO says they can't help (right). The counter staff is too busy counting down to retirement day. After an hour and ten minute hold time with the USPS 800 number they sent an email to the last office location. I've had issues with shipments coming through Kent Washington like this. It must be a Pacific Northwest thing.

    USPS seemingly lost my last GB purchase. Showed as in transit for about 5 days before it showed up in Honolulu for a couple days. That's between Florida and Missouri,right? 2-day shipping took 11 days.

    Well the question is what kind of shipping is it. Is it media shipping which takes the longest, economy which takes the second longest or priority or first class...

    The first two of which won't ship out unless there's enough room on their truck, so it may be shipped from post office to post office in the same town where they know a truck is coming down in hopes that they can get it loaded. So like in Seattle that's what probably happened. They were just looking for a truck that had enough room for your package to be put on. And of course if it was media shipping or economy shipping it will take back seat to priority shipping and first class shipping...

    Would it gets to you, keep us posted as to what kind of shipping it was. And if it was anything less than priority or first class, next time tell the company to ship it out with a faster shipping method

    I had one a few weeks ago working on my mower I picked the closest seller to me in my own state it shipped priority got close then back tracked to 90 miles away again then back then finitely to my PO only 6 days [:(]
    I won several items ( again small engine parts for my mowers weed trimmer items and old tractor ) they show shipped tracking still showing in transit (, I received three of the packages two days ago but tracking shows I am still waiting ..
    but they do get it right sometimes [:D][:D]
    LOL I have come to enjoy a package even a few days late thet not torn . mashed , tire tracks , soaking wet , in a plastic bag labeled OOPPS sorry .. ( I have received all them + more )

    Our mailman received a DUI for creaming a couple parked cars out on the road.
    IMHO Payless has less loafers than the USPS.

    Its going to Dexter Oregon, But went up to the Lost land in Washington. Keeps getting delayed when it was 1st posted it was going to arrive Monday the 6th now its Thursday the 9th.

    Well things are looking up. If shows this morning that it Arrived at USPS Regional Destination Facility RENO NV DISTRIBUTION CENTER August 5, 2018 2:43 AM. At least it hasn't been lost, just sidetracked for a few days. So much for Priority Mail 2 to 3 day delivery.
