Trump wins EU trade war

President Donald Trump scored a ?major win? on Wednesday by reaching a limited trade deal with the European Union, which made a ?major concession? to the United States to avoid a trade war.
That?s according to business news anchor Neil Cavuto of Fox News ? who just last week blasted President Trump over his press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland.
Amidst recent tariffs and tensions, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker arrived at the White House with two options for a deal to avoid a wider trade war, according to ABC News: ?eliminate tariffs on cars for all trading partners or create a limited free trade agreement between the U.S. and EU on industrial goods.?
Trump opted for the latter ? and secured Europe?s agreement to buy more American soybeans and liquified natural gas (LNG). The two also announced that they would begin ?to work together toward zero tariffs, zero non-tariff barriers, and zero subsidies on non-auto industrial goods,? in Trump?s words.

An acknowledgement that they've been hosing us for years. A trade war would hurt, but our economy could sustain a trade war far longer and deeper than theirs and they know it. If a war started Trump would have cranked it down and they'd have been screaming from the pain with in months. This is where "they need us more than we need them" comes into play. I am not going to "All Hail" Trump, I prefer his results over his demeanor and I will be a lot happier if he can get the next Supreme appointed, I would be almost giddy if the sleepy one goes out during Trumps term and he gets that one too!
I think the Supreme Court nominees will go much further to MAGA than any one or two term President can.
I would also like to see some GOP that won't grow a pair tossed in favor of some who will.

The EU knew they couldn't win a trade war with US.
The problem for them is some member would make a deal outside of the agreement with the US and the whole thing would crash, like Germany and the pipeline to Russia, they are all out for themselves.0 -
