    legal in kansas but no facilities available....one could take granny to a stock tank in the back yard and have her bubble away over a few beers ....seems a way to get a lot of clean skeletons for halloween and med school..or they could be ground up for fertilizer like the history of buffalo bones...maybe even some do it yerself kits out from Mafia Enterprises Inc

    When I go I hope I'm the only one in the oven. Hate to bunk for all eternity with a mess of strangers 'cos they want to save a few bucks. Or god forbid they'll claim it's more green to pile a few folks per burn. Taking a play from the Germans and spinning it.

    The current costs of funerals has been a crime for most folks and even cremation services keep going up in my area.

    In Laws own a funeral home, and they provide many "welfare" funerals, much of which they eat...and yet those ungrateful people bitch and complain that they aren't provided a $15K funeral for $2k. Like any businesses there are expenses that aren't appreciated by the public. The expensive fancy funerals subsidize the poor ones.

    My BIL does direct cremations for $995...he doesn't have a crematorium so he has contract to another funeral home.

    Fairly cheap over here but after a year "they" dig you up, break up the bones and put you in a small hole in the wall with a plaque. Think I'll measure the "hole". Probably 8x8x12. [?]

    Explains why the cemetery was so small and why most of the dates were current.[:0]
