Voting...good news ...bad news...
Voted this morning here in upstate New York on the Vermont border..
Voting places were packed.....mostly older folks....bad news is its New York State....and NYC steers this ship......[xx(]

absentee returns alone showing this to be a record turnout for a mid term election in montana. both parties mobilizied heavily. 0 -
Polls close at 2100 here. I'll be there when I get off work at 1530.
The good news is that I have recruited several more folks, conservative but previously non-voting folks, to get their asses out to the polls today, too.
Whether that makes a difference here in NNY, I don't know. At least I am doing something!0 -
Hmm... that sounds a lot like Washington. ONE county (King) has enough voters to control the destiny of the rest of the State. Patently left wing liberals. On more than one occasion there has been talk of dividing the State, and I'd be all for it considering the scum that has taken control and the mess they have made of what was once a nice place to live. 0 -
Rochester NY here, low turn out so far in my college town neighborhood.
Hope it stays that way, we are outnumbered by the lefties here.0 -

They can't or aren't interested in something that can't be done from their house. No "popup" windows and not being able to get help / descriptions by "hovering" over an object seems to discourage them from going to vote.
Frustration/apathy/ignorance plays a big role,, weird as that seems.
