The things I find on YouTube! Buddy's career stretched from the 30's into the 80's. Pretty impressive by any standards.

  Yeah he had a helluva career. Cast as The Tin Man in Wizard of Oz 3 years later, that aluminum make up made him sick had to give up that role. Damn, what a role to miss out on.
  
  I saw him on tv in 1956 as Davy Crockett's side kick, Georgie Russell.
  I loved watching Davy Crockett and I had a coon skin hat!
  
  A helluva career.
