What cost the GOP the house

Not overturning ObamaCare. The GOP promised to do it and failed. Thing is the house voted to repel it, it was the senate that failed to do so.

Just so happened the senate races weren't opened up like the house. Dems went after the low hanging fruit and got it.

If the GOP had overturned ObamaCare the dems couldn't have used the prospect of saving it to run on.

Thanks John McCain, you gave the house to the dems.

    Now that Mexico has not only failed to stop the caravan but helped them along, Trump needs to withhold 2 years of aid they would have gotten from us and put the money toward the wall. That way Trump can say Mexico at least partially paid for the wall.

    I don't think it unreasonable to suggest that all that winning was responsible for the losses, as well.

    Maybe 30 years of immigration has swayed to demographic. Always was the Democratic strategy. If the Democrats take Texas and Florida as they did California / west coast, it's all over but the crying. Unless of course Conservatives can increase their vote.
