Take a look at the bid history on this gem. I just could not get pass the 2 3/4" chamber that this 28ga never had. Should be 2 7/8". Could say more but will just keep my mouth shut.

    I remember one of my uncle's (married to my dad's sister) brother used to come over and squirrel hunt. He used one of these in 28ga.

    it seems a few people with cash to waste don't look at the photos very well, or they only can view them on a cel phone.

    +1,Check out the 1936 1st year pigtail break lever that was mutilated with a file. Guess someone wanted to extend sighting notch into break leaver. Sad. Where is the bullnose forend stock that belongs with this 1st year gun? Polished to death, note vertical polishing lines on receiver instead of horizontal factory lines. Hammer (cocking lever)blued not case hardened color and much more but I don't want to piss off the poofer.

    I don't know much about this gun but a quick online search did reveal several discrepancies. Before I laid down that kind of money I would do some due diligence. Such as asking on here or in the expert section hoping to find someone like Raymond.

    I am NOT an expert BUT I can bet that there is several issues with that Winchester, just sayin.
