The day has been long.
Started with a traffic jam this morning so instead of 30 minutes it took an hour to get to the shop so no time to stop for coffee. A bunch of stock came in including a lot of different kinds of ammo and the two folks working with me this morning are new and in training so it took much longer to get it checked in. Had half a dozen guns to log in. Numerous calls to send our FFL for transfers.A certain gov agency calls seeking info. A nice lady brought her Father's 1970's Colt 6" blue python and 12 ga. Rem 1100 in for me to clean. The Remington I can save but the right side of the barrel on the Colt is already pitted from the flood.Other than that the python was a good strong 98% gun. Such a shame.Forgot I had a party of 15 coming in at 6pm to rent guns and shoot. I'm old and tired and weak and I want to go home.BOO HOO Oh I forgot one of our rental AR15's broke an extractor and of course I don't have one here.

Long day here too...doing range prep for next week. Had to load all the ammo into the range trailer, go to Lowes get the target backings and 2X3s, then cut them and load them...got my lower back on an ice pack with my TENS unit rocking. 0 -

My day off, so I slept in for a bit(first time in months), then had a nice breakfast and coffee. After that I headed to my farm and ran my dozer for 4-5 hours. I've been clearing and grading some overgrown fields. Put hay out and talked to my cows for a bit, then headed home.
