  Grasshopper...I paid $389 for mine brand new around 1979. I got the collapsing stock a few years ago when Cheaper than Dirt had some German police surplus units for $49. Very compact but most unpleasant to shoot with that stock.
  
  I had all the accessories like the detachable scope mount etc. Rifle was stolen in 1985and I sold all the stuff the crooks left behind. Then 17 years later the cops in L.A. recovered it. Wish I had the scope mount back.
  
  With the short stock and a 30 round mag it looks like an AK on steroids...

  Yea, mine was fixed but brother, could that thing pile up the brass. And it was scary accurate for a type rifle.[:)]
