Not to hi-jack a thread, but...
Bob lost his great pal & the best retriever he ever knew of. But he loved duck hunting so much that he went to a trainer to purchase another dog. He told the trainer about his broken heart & that he would never expect to find another exceptional dog to replace his, but he needed a decent retriever. The trainer felt bad for Bob & knew that he would be a good owner, so he introduced him to Rex. He billed Rex as the best dog he ever knew. Bob wouldn't even have to waste his time hiking to each pond as Rex would run to it & report back. To prove, they walked down a trail until the trainer pointed down a path & told Rex, ?water.? Rex took off, returned quickly & gave 3 muffled barks. When Bob & the trainer arrived at the pond, there were 3 ducks. Well, Bob wasn't convinced so the trainer pointed down another path and said, ?water.? Rex took off, returned quickly & gave 5 muffled barks. Sure enough, when they got to the pond there were 5 ducks. Bob was still skeptical so the trainer said to take Rex out on trial.
The next morning, Bob took Rex to his favorite hunting spot, pointed down a trail & said, ?water.? Rex took off, returned quickly with a stick in his mouth & humped Bob's leg. Of course, Bob was peeved, so he shook Rex off, pointed down the trail & said, ?WATER.? Again, Rex returned with a stick & humped Bob's leg. With that, Bob took Rex back to the trainer. He explained what Rex did & started to rant on & run Rex down when he was stopped. The trainer told Bob that he didn't understand that Rex was trying to tell him that, there were more f---in ducks in that pond then you could shake a stick at.0 -
