According to Booker it no longer is an issue of Kavanaugh being guilty or innocent of sexual assault charges.
Now they want to press the demeanor and temper aspect of his denials.
I actually had a discussion with a woman yesterday who parroted that same view.
I reminded her that IF she had actually watched the hearings and listened to Judge Kavanaugh field countless questions about who paid for his Hot dog at a ball game she would know he has endless patience.
Only after being accused of sexual assault did he get angry and the fact is the Dems were already talking about if he didn't vigorously deny these allegations then he wasn't sincere enough.
This man deserves not only to be on the Supreme Court but an apology from everyone of the Democrats and other Americans who have attacked his character without any proof.0 -
Nobody deserves to be on the Supreme Court.
The choice of the President, however, when the candidate is fully qualified and has no disqualifying behavior in his past, deserves to be honored.
The Democrats have violated this obligation.
Just as they did with Bork and attempted to do with Thomas.
Just as the Republicans did with Garland.
Graham, for all of his flaws hit the nail on the head with his statement regarding how he voted for Kagan and Sotomayor. Neither of these two individuals deserved to be on the Supreme Court, but nomination should have been (and was) respected.
Kavanaugh deserves to on the Supreme Court not because of anything intrinsic to Kavanaugh or what he has gone through. He deserves to be on the Supreme Court solely because he was nominated by the sitting President, is eminently qualified on a professional level, and has not been demonstrated to be disqualified on a personal level.0 -
