About twenty years ago a fella near where I live staged a photo of a nice eight point buck he had just shot. He placed his brand new deer rifle across the antlers, got behind it while a friend was taking the picture.
The last he saw of his rifle after that was as the deer jumped up & ran off carrying it across his head gear.
They never found the deer or the rifle.
