I Went to Slider Heaven Tonight
I had a hankering for a plain ole simple cheeseburger.
Walmart had a tube of burger meat, five pounds for ten bucks, two bucks a pound! Oh yeah, four pounds got frozen.
Some sharp cheddar, spicy brown mustard, Duke's mayo, and some cheap little burger buns.
Lea & Perrins, minced garlic, and a dollop of Tiger Sauce in the meat.
Fried it slow and dressed the buns. A little pepper and Himalayan pink salt. Set the meat off to drain and melt the cheddar on top.
These two babies had meat hanging out all around and since I didn't toast the buns the old style burger taste was there. Bite'em and the juice runs.[}:)][}:)]
Some big crinkle cut fries would have been Heaven too!

Well, the last time I bought Wal Mart burger it really was not edible. Granted that was about 3 years ago but it was like rotten.
So their burger has improved? Compared to about Kroger meat?0 -

Tubed ground.... Well they call it beef, I and most people that know what's in it don't. You may as well eat dog poop....[xx(][xx(]
Have you ever wondered why that ground... whatever it is only cost $2 a pound?
I won't even feed that crap to my dog... But then my dog won't eat dog poop either... So why even try to feed it to him... He would turn his nose up to it just like you did the one time that I tried to feed them some mutton that's somebody cooked and Gave to me but doesn't know how to cook mutton0 -

I NEVER buy chub/roll hamburger from anywhere.. Most of the recalled meat for salmonella is chub hamburger meat 0
