Lots of Praying with a GREAT ending!!!

My 19 year old son has two friends who, politely put, have lost their way. Uri torn them up, telling them they had turned into true trash and would have nothing to do with them anymore. Of course, drugs were part of the problem.

Last night one of these boys called Uri, apologized for being an idiot and an azzhole, then informed Uri he has enlisted in the Navy and is leaving today at 2 PM.

With the way things were going I rate this as a wonderful outcome!!

I'll tell you what, when my wife starts praying, good things happen!!

Again, THANK YOU LORD!!

    Never judge a person by the mistakes they make. Judge them by how they handle those mistakes.

    Being in military service is good for any young man. I matured a lot when I joined the Marines many years ago.

    My advice is, finish high school and do your mandatory military service. Really wasn't any alternative except moving out of the house. One did and the other was basically thrown out shortly after finishing high school when he "refused" serve his mandatory military service.

    His mother had to pay for him to "screw around" for two years and then he "caved" and went into the military. He then became a policeman and there is NO WAY to become a policeman w/o serving in the Military.

    Where I am, if you don't finish high school your life is "downhill" from that point. Don't serve in the military, you won't be a policeman, among other things.

    Your son no doubt the the boy a huge favor. Hope it works out for the boy.
