Buck 119.......
...... just gave one to my 12 year old son for his birthday. If he doesn't lose it will last his life time. Oh, made in the USA.
I gave my oldest son a Buck belt knife when he was about that age, he's 43 and still uses it. My middle sons 28 and 30 got K-BAR knives about that same age and still have them.
The Buck belt knives are really pretty good buys. Tough, good sheaths, a little tough to sharpen but they hold an edge well.

Buck knives cannot be beat. I carried my Buck 110 the entire time I was working.
I was wearing it when at the old man buck's house fire. He wanted to look at it and offered to sharpen it. I picked it up a couple of days later at the factory.0 -
It will take him at least two generations, probably more, to wear it out. Good choice. 0 -
The last Christmas present my dad gave me before he died was a Buck 110. I?ve skinned many deer with it.

They are hard to get sharp but stay sharp unless you Knick the blade.0 -

My Buck 110 is going with the youngest son on his next deployment to the sandbox. It went with him on his previous deployment there. 0 -
I bought a Bucklite 422 at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield, Mo when I got a job there in 1985. I still carry it, I had it at work with me today. It is still as sharp as new. 0 -

The older one's mother was 5 years older than me and she had him when she was 17. He was 11 when he came into my life. I raised him like my own, and our relationship is that of father and son. He is in my will on the same basis as the others. The middle two have the same mother as him. My youngest has a different mother. All my sons are brothers if you ask them. Though the oldest and the youngest really aren't blood related at all.0 -

I have a bunch of knives at the head of my bed (could this be why I sleep alone most of the time?? Hummmm) and one is an older Buck 103 skinner. Great knife and it is SHARP. 0 -
