The hunting show host that came out against AR15s

A few years ago there was a major industry person that came out against AR style rifles, said something about "they don't belong in our club/community" referring to the hunting crowd in general. I believe it was Jim Shockey but Googling, Binging, even searching here and other gun sites I can find no reference to it. There was a boycott and everything, am I crazy or was it someone other than Shockey, even though I would almost swear under oath it was him.

Any help, anyone know what I'm talking about?[:)]

I think I'm losing my mind by not being able to find the info on this.

    I had to use my phone, I was busy, driving[:0], at the gym[:)], then driving again[:0], then home before I fired the laptop up[;)]
