I would like to but its about where I would be willing to pay right now.
I am on the hunt for a 357 mg lever gun. I kind of want one of the pre safety Puma guns. I have one in 44 mag and its slick and accurate.
The problem is they are all way over 500 bucks which seems like a lot too me.0 -

Ricci will have a Ruger SB that was mine in a few weeks(I haven't brought it to him yet) Check it out. It is an awesome gun and the smoothest SB I have ever had.0 -

they have went through the roof the last year or so, marlin quit making the 357, that only leaves henry, which is heavy, and the puma and rossi clones, and folks are very proud of them. I have one of the newer marlins, sweet little rifle no recoil, its like shooting a 22lr
will be my grandkids first deer rifle, put a cheap reddot/reflex sight on it and it is fast and fun under a 100 yards0 -

Yes that may be true Ricci, but since I've heard my Idol (Julia Child) used to carry one, I've got to have one to go along with my signed Quisinart, (SP?) & signed Cookbook collection. I will cherish them. [:D]0 -

That 220 swift is starting to go.
I swear the trigger on those guns is outstanding. I had one in 308 and it was one of the best target rifles I have ever had.
That 220 swift is very accurate. If I was a varmint hunter or I was going to shoot Pdogs it would be my Goto gun. I don't do taht anymore so away it goes..................
BTW that was my 1st purchase on GB[;)] from Reds Trading post. I shot pdogs with it for several years in ND.0 -

I wish that Ruger would go up higher.
The funny thing is that rifle would shoot circles around the 220 swift #1 but is selling at 1/2 price.
The 77 KVT has a better trigger too than the #1.
I thought it would be about $800 by now but there are still 2 days.0 -

I would like to add it has a "Military" style trigger. The trigger has some take up and then breaks like a glass rod.
I worked hard on this and I find it very accurate.
I have maybe 800 rds down the tube none were barn burners but this gun shoots sub-moa all day with my handloads out to 3oo yds.
The barrel has a LOT of life left in it.
BTW I did NOT glass bed this gun because it shot so good out of the box.
All I did was adjust the trigger and lap the barrel with NI bore compound. I do not shot Moly bullets. But I do neck turn my brass just a little.
I took it to NE and shot pdogs with it years ago but I never got it hot(I used a 223 or a 6mm BR for most of my shooting)0 -

Its a Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 4 5/8" Barrel in 44 Magnum with a non-fluted cylinder.
It has a Belt Mountain Cylinder pin, the Action has been smoothed up. Its a blued gun but I put a Stainless Bisley Grip Frame on it and a Bisley trigger, it has imitation buffalo horn grips. I have a nice Pancake Holster made for it and all the original parts to put it back the way it came from the factory.
It is a nice shooting gun and looks brand new, no scratches or dings, I would say it is a 97% gun.
Keep watch for it. I will be handing it off to Ricci in a few weeks to sell.
The reason I am selling it is I just don't shoot it anymore. I have about 6 44 magnums and shoot the others more. I don't think I have shot this gun in 12 years or so. I got it Brand new here on GB.
I have the box and paperwork too.0
