New Rifle. Finally!
I've been looking for a Steyr Model S 338 Win Mag for about 4-5 years. Everyone I found was too beat up, or went for way more than I hoped.
Found a nice one right here on GB last week and picked it up this morning from my dealer. a couple hunting nicks and marks, but all in all a dandy! Just a beautiful classic looking hunting rifle with nice wood, hammer forged barrel, deep rich bluing, detachable magazine, and a 3X9 Leupold. Just need the "perfect" sling for it.
Not sure why I wanted it, I now have 4 338 Win Mags!
Oh Well, can't wait to get it to the range, hopefully next week.....
