Armed man helps subdue suspect

A Good Samaritan with a concealed carry permit is being credited with helping to subdue a man involved in a deadly stabbing on Friday at a busy tourist spot in Seattle.

Scott Brown was working at one of the food stands in the Armory, the food-court area in the Seattle Center, when the stabbing took place.

    Yep, and those sonsabiches are beside themselves over that. You see, way back when this state constitution was being written, the writers had vision. In the constitution are provisions that no county or city can make a more restrictive law than state law.

    Good the guy was subdued,, what if he turned and fled with a knife,, possibly kill another person? shoot him in the back?

    As far as I could see, from the video, that the guy with the gun survived was a matter of luck. He was not willing to shoot. He backed up continually for a long time with the knife-wielder only a few yards away and moving towards him. The guy with the knife kept yelling, "shoot me." Really don't know what I'd have done, but many would have obliged him.
