    I used to have an account ---- great to see what my children & grand children were doing. Plus, I got notices from groups I was interested in; county government, local charities, fire department, etc.

    But, I started to get "friend recommendations" for people I didn't know, & figured out that my cell phone provider had to be selling FB a list of the people I phoned. That's just too intrusive, so I deleted my account.

    To FB, we are the product, not the customer. F'em.

    Same with your phone Neal, but that is harder to get rid of. Capitalism at work. Sometimes it sucks. Young folks mostly see no problem with it.

    Twitter and Instagram are for kids. FB is old news to most of the younger ones. As P3 said, FB is great for keeping up with my motorcycle, Navy, shooting and skydiving friends.

    I have a Facebook account. I find it useful for communicating with family and friends. Plus, I have bought and sold a few things using Facebook.

    I'm just a kid. I use Facebook. I read the GunBroker page, but don't contribute. It was useful to keep updated the last time GB was down suddenly for several days.
