Some Healthcare numbers, sadly ridiculous
I am not advocating single payer or socialized medicine, HOWEVER this is flat out ridiculous!
If you do not work in one of the fewer places that still offer employer paid health insurance (IE: Self employed)
And if you make as a family of 2, 68K a year you get no tax credits so your cost for a silver plan would be $1,125 per month per adult or $27,002 per year! wth
However deductible costs another $7350.00 X 2 or 14,700.
So a HEALTHY adult couple with no healthcare issues will spend at least 27,003 dollars on coverage and if you have any thing at all go wring you can potentially add 14,700 more. So two people could very easily drop 41,700 in one year on healthcare WITH a silver plan!
Yeah we have a serious problem in this country.
However if you make 45K a year you would get a 1878 a month tax credit or 22,500 per year on that same plan and your cost would be 333 a month or 4001 a year.
So 45K income - 4K lets you keep 40 K a year
68K income - 27K lets you keep 41K a year
That isn't even factoring in the cost of income tax.
People might not bother to earn the difference?

Being "older" does have some advantages. 0 -
People NEVER learn, the Affordable Care Act is no exception.
Involving the Federal Government in social issues always increases costs, reduces individual freedoms and choices. The Department or program soon becomes rife with corruption, ineptitude, poor outcomes and are managed by unaccountable people making awesome wages.0 -
When is Trump gonna get rid of this? 0 -

Trump can't, that is Congress's job and they are a bunch of corrupt scum that did not and will not do the bidding of the people.
If Congress wanted to fix immigration, it would already be fixed.
If Congress wanted to build a wall, it would already be built.
If Congress wanted to return health care to the people, it would already be a done deal.
If Congress wanted term limits, they would already be passed.
Corruption runs deep, the money is too tempting to most and getting reelected is the only priority for Congresscritters after the election is over and they have won.0 -
