    Sandra Louise Smith, stage name Sondra Locke. her career was destroyed by Eastwood after he dumped her.

    Sorry she passed but I never really was impressed with her acting or her looks, always thought she was just another that rode along on someone else's coattail for years. According to the reports she was still married to the guy she married back in the 60's (never divorced) so after bed jumping for years that tells me she was going after the fame and money which as we know is normal in Hollywood.

    Clint put her in a lot of movies, and I never liked seeing her in them!

    I agree and she cost Clint a TON of money in "Palimony".

    BTW, she destroyed her own damn career.

    A matter of perspective. If Clint was responsible for the career and exposure she had, is he responsible for her career forever? She was in many of his movies, likely made a lot of her own money, and received a lot of exposure she might not have gained without being with him.

    I always thought she was hot in a trashy way, especially in the gauntlet.[:p]

    I would not argue that she was a great actress, I thought she was good in some roles and force placed in others. After they split, and the palimony suit was running, Eastwood made sure she did not get good roles. Better if career had continued on her own merit or lack it.

    I have a young woman that cleans my rentals that looks pretty much identical to her.

    I thought she said something along the lines after eastwood paid she didn't have to work again. Ah, the '80s. Even Hef had to pay.

    As for her looks the hair do was something awful. Reminded me of tamed down Doc. Brown or a poodle.
