Here's why I asked about your comment and why I assured you I asked with no malice. I give you a snippet of dialog from the book I'm editing at present that contains a couple of gems I dredged from the detritus here on GB. Bless your pea-picking hearts.
"I've spent the last three or four days with a personal problem."
"Your heart?" Panic gripped Stan. "Something serious?"
"Serious to me, and no, it's not my heart. It's trivia. It's getting lost in minutia. We spend an obscene amount of our time discussing and thinking about trivial matters when there are so many more important things we ignore or dismiss. The most tragic feature of this folly is we've become convinced that our aimless prattle has some import. And countering the tragedy with farce, most of what we pose has the intellectual weight of a somnambulant fart." Now the old man sounded disgusted.
