    This is a complete waste of tax payer money.

    Nothing but a feel good, PC, look what we have done dog and pony show.

    In the end they will have a bunch of junk, most of it stolen or not even in working condition, but all of it displayed on some table with some fat cat politician and some lard ass chairborn ranger cop with more gold braid than a Honduran Admiral, pontificating on how "they bees gitten da guns off da skreet".

    just like I posted on th eother thread about this there would be limits and rules as to who could be part of it ( example like p-mag showing up with 100,000 30 round p-mags I sure they would love to get 25.00 each )
    one of my favorite rules from th earticle
    "Any weapon that enters the event will not be permitted to be removed."
    make sure some one does not cherry pick or offer more to the people in line [}:)]

    like all the rest of the buy backs all a joke

    ...and for the record, it's very likely the ghetto denizens will crack the 300 murder (and climbing) mark before the weekend is out. As always, Nero continues to fiddle while Rome burns. (The number was 296 when I wrote this post. Update: Another hit the ground-woman tagged in her car-right after I hit ?send?. 297 and climbing.)

    Meanwhile, the apparent favorite candidate to be Police Commissioner-the third, or is it fourth in a year- has been in four cities in five years (He's currently about to get run out of Ft.Worth)and the "selection committee" will only provide the city council with a "heavily redacted" version of his background check. Imagine that. The esteemed mayor, "Low IQ Pugh", wants to give this clown, her choice, a raise of over $100K above the current rate of $240-260K.

    If I show up and sell them, say, five guns will the ATF be waiting at the end of the line to arrest me for being an unlicensed dealer? Asking for a friend.[}:)]

    the ones ( buy back ) they had local were no questions ask you could have stolen it last night and turned it in they did not care as long as they got a gun

    my guess they knew a few people with a trunk full of magazines would bankrupt the operation and it would flop be laughed about .. all dog and pony show as normal
    I would wager some on here could bankrupt there buy back if first in line [:D][:D]

    Possibly more break ins ect to steal some of those for turn in>? And if I was a dealer around there, I WOULD go in and turn some in even though no FFL 's allowed. Just sayin.

    That's always been my rub. Along with the prescription drug "take backs" sponsored by some cop shop. buzzards never gave it to me, how in the he11 an they "take it back"?

    The commies here in Calif caught on and made some law changes. Some C&R license holders would hit the line of people to these buybacks before the doors opened and scored some nice guns at bargain prices.

    I would say that was replayed all across the country at all the "buy backs "
    most all I know of over the last several years have changed rules and interaction with the sheeple

    I turned in some junk for hockey tickets several years ago. One of the items was a kit cannon. They put a picture of it in the paper & made it look like a real cannon.
