Damn they?re back
Went out at 7am and there were a dozen turkey buzzards roosting in the trees at the back of my property. They were in the yard last night!! I feel ok. I better go look in the mirror.

Back in the summer my son had some roost in a tree beside his home. They sat on the edge of his above ground pool sometimes. It is saltwater so I don't know if they were there to drink it. It was a very dry period of the summer. After a couple of flash bangs they moved on. 0 -

If they are roosting you have problems, they make a mess. I suggest firing into them with a 12ga loaded with Lead #4 shot 3" magnum like a Turkey load.
That should send a message to them they are not welcome.
In North Carolina, turkey vultures and buzzards are protected by law, making it illegal to shoot or pursue them without a permit. Be cautious of vulture activity in your area, especially if you have small children or pets.

We just call em buzzards around here. They are big and black and they eat all the dead opossums, and coons, and foxes, and deer, and cats, and the other dead stuff on the road so they perform a valuable service. 0 -
I had a tree full of them one day.
Its one of the craziest feelings to look out and see a BUNCH of those gigantic birds looming in one place. Like they can predict the future and something horrible is about to happen.
I haven't ever seen them again....once was ENOUGH.....even though it was pretty cool.0 -

Same here, they may be look nasty, but they clean up the road kill. Also the reason their only around in warmer months, they can't eat frozen meat.
Leave them alone what I say, same with opposums. They have a place too.0 -
