The voting advice I give.
When educating young voters, my children included, or anyone that seems interested in listening. I advise them that if they will apply to basic principles when making their decisions it makes it a lot easier.
First: "There's no such thing as a free lunch." Followed buy a brief explanation to support it and maybe an example.
Second: "One man's rights ends where another's begins." Again, followed by a brief explanation and a simple example.
If they are interested, and we have the time, I'l explain a few other things. If given the chance I usually make the point that free enterprise drives the economy. And how a good economy is needed or all those other things people worry about can't be financed.
Of course I will go on if they are interested and want to discuss it. But my primary objective is to make the two points I listed above. If they try to apply those two principles then the thought process is began that will lead to good decisions, if not now then later as the process develops.

Recent polls indicate the Dems might lose 20% of the black vote, lets see if they have quit listening to unfilled promises by the Dems and are using their heads.

If a proposal is in any way against the Constitution and/or
The Ten Commandments vote against it.
If a proposal does not give full disclosure or is in any way obscure vote against it.
If a proposal increases taxes vote against it.
