Letter to my U.S. senator

Senator Young,

The primary reason I voted for you as senator was to do my part to ensure confirmation of potential Supreme Court Justices that would be nominated by President Trump. We did our part, it is time for the republican party to do theirs. We, the voters, gave the republicans the majority in large part on this very issue. It is concerning that the republicans in the senate are not using the power they were given.

If the republican majority can't confirm Brett Kavanaugh what is our, the voters, incentive to vote republican? We gave you the majority, I encourage you to use it.

    I wrote to Dick Durbin, and he said basically, I am right and me is wrong. Duckworth is worse if that is possible. Her claim to fame, bring my baby to work law. Of course that law passed. [|)]

    He's not up for election. But the democrat is, the republicans have a good chance to take that seat. The republicans need to step up if they want to hold the senate and in this case turn a seat.

    That is actually a fine letter: 103 words, less salutation and closing. Well within the 100 word target for having the Senator actually see and read it. My only suggestion would be to make the salutation read: My dear Senator Young.
