I am guess it was a local group but while I was in Japan around 1994 or so a street band was preforming to a large group ( area was set up for such ) there banner was "chicken F***ers " no kidding I had too look twice to make sure that was the name I have a old photo some where from my trip with them playing proud under there banner [:D][:D] 0 -
I believe that's a pop culture literary allusion to south Park...
But I agree with you even though I think I get it and am in on the joke it's a stupid name for a band...
