I see him - I see most of you as family...
You don't always agree or get along but you still have love or a permanent bond
Maybe a cooling off period or no compete period was in order
But if it matters to anyone I welcome his participation

I do miss him ( Capt fun ) I am positive he is doing well, he had a great sense of humor when slapping down / shutting down a post or providing screen names
I still stay in touch with Paul on and off thru e-mail he tells me he does read the post on rare occasions . I will have to ask if him and capt still do e-mails or stay in touch they seemed like they were some what buddies
while I am posting I miss Paul on here also [:(]

So did I like him, till we had a heated back and forth about info posted for another member here about wiring a 12volt to 120volt inverter into his truck.
The capt gave very wrong instructions, and I tried to steer the guy right. Then the capt went off the deep end and started name calling and insulting my knowledge and 42 years of doing the exact thing the member was attempting.
But of course, in the end, the whole thread went missing after the member here talked to the manufacturer, and they said the same thing I did.[B)]0 -

What happened to me was, somebody had reported a story from the news, some gal, I don't remember it was in show business or politics, but this gal had claimed that she was raped by some guy.
Well, call me a Neanderthal, but I don't believe every story of sexual assault. Of course, many are true but some are not and the current accuser of our next Supreme Court Justice is a perfect example.
She kept her mouth shut for 35 years, but, four days before the vote she tells her tale of horror? Never reported to the police?

So, back five or six years ago there was such a report, the couple, they were in political or show biz news I don't remember, the couple had had sex evidently, and now the gal was claiming rape.
The story just didn't ring true to me and I have an excellent BS detector.
So I said, on that thread on our forum, that I didn't believe her story and "I bet she enjoyed every inch of it."
Hell I was just paraphrasing the famous line from Led Zeppelin "Whole Lotta Love." "I'm gonna give you every...." etc.
So I was kicked off. My dismissal was discussed on the forum quite a bit and the Captain said he didn't know if he would ever let me return. It was weird because I had a lot to say on the matter, of course, but, I could not post.
See, at that time, Capt. had two girls in college. I had the strong feeling that his daughters read the forum and one of his daughters had told him what a Naughty Boy I was and that was why he kicked me off. I have no proof but that is what I think happened.
Anyway that did cause me some distress, but, after about 6 months off the forum Capt Fun put me back on.0
